Winter sports have tradition in the Bernauer high valley, finally, this is the native country of the legendary ski pionieer Ernst Köpfer and his ski "brand Field mountain"

Today Bernau is valid as a confidertival tip under the populares winter sports places in the Black Forest. Long ago has set up Bernau in the Black Forest as a venue of numerous skiing events in the alpine as well as northern area.

The skiing area of Court corner in the district court (Moderately servere runways, inclination to 40%) can serve 2 taved lifts as well as 2 big free parking bays. On the court corner 1 one finds even a F SHARP homo-stayed runway. On it Felix Neureuther and Katja Seizinger have already gone in her youth.
