The new modern "Prevala" cableway similar to the "funifor" model, combined with two cable cars with 100 places each renders it feasible to leave from the "Gilberti" station at an altitude equaling 1,845 and to reach Sella Golovec at an altitude of 2,133mt., in other words on top of Sella Prevala. It is really a special experience worth living and enabling you to enjoy a breathtaking landscape. It is something new which enriches Sella Nevea in its turn located in the valley between Monte Canin and the lo Jôf of Montasio. This area is considered as the "glacier" of the Friuli Venezia Giulia. The reason is that this is tradionally the Promotur resort closing really at the end of the winter season, thus giving ski lovers the opportunity to enjoy nice downhill skiing even in the first weekends of spring time!

Tourists will have the chance to enjoy all emotions skiing on the slopes of Monte Canin can let you feel. The total ski area measures 355.000 m² and the opportunity to test one's own skills is just there for you to take it. Another tradition in this resort is thrilling off-slope skiing: another challenge for our guests.

Since 2007/2008, in fact Sella Nevea hosts the international center where training in the high speed-related variants of downhill skiing takes place (FIS Training Center). Right from the first training season the center became a well-known place for international training in such sport activity and a real point of reference for the World Cup, the Coppa Europa and Fis competitions.
The slope for professional skiers of Monte Canin is a real test for athletes' skills. Professional skiers can use it as a sort of personal training center, whereas non-professional skiers have the Canin slope for tourists at their disposal.

In addition to all this Sella Nevea is a mountain resort surrounded by uncontaminated nature; it is paradise on earth for all those who love the natural environment.
