Le Haut Doubs is right at the heart of the Jura mountains and offers a lovely varied landscape with endless pine forest and traditional pastures.

The towns Métabief, Malbuisson, Les Fourgs are all quiet corners of winter paradise. Métabief is an alpine skiing station with 27 tracks totaling 40 km for all skiing levels against the fabulous panorama of the highest peaks of the Alps. The ski area offers a snowpark and a track of boarder cross for the amateurs of new sensations. On top of this there is 220 km of tracks: for nordic (skating and classic) and (snowshoe) hiking.

The holidays in the mountain is also about discovering the local traditions with the visit of a farm, a cheese dairy or simply a stroll in dogs of sleds or with from the Franche-Comté horses.
